After recent demotion to the 3rd division, Maidstone excelled throughout the season in Div 3 following a slow start. John Hogwood led the team well with only two loses to his team manager record. With George Fray leading the way playing at \u2018one\u2019 showing some exceptional skills in cross court winners, the team\u2019s strength in depth led us to finish 2nd and gain promotion to division 2. Peter Stock found some form this year and arguably won player\u2019s player of the season! The team showed good heart and commitment throughout the year and are looking forward to the challenges in division 2. Mike Watson found some form towards the end of the season, with an unbeaten 14 game record. Whilst Chris O\u2019Brien disappointed his followers with a poor season. <\/p>\n\n
