We are a small, vibrant and friendly squash club located right in the heart of Maidstone. We have been in existence for over 60 years and have a long list of enthusiastic squash players of all standards and ages.
The Club is members-only and is run by a team of committed volunteers. We have two courts available for players to book as well as Box Leagues and a Saturday Afternoon Club where members can come along to meet and play other players. We enter teams into the North West Kent League and have a small but growing group of regular racketball players.
Development is a key word at the club and children are encouraged to take up squash by offering a thriving Junior Club on Saturday mornings coached by a Level 3 County Development Coach. Many of the club’s junior members have gone on to win honours in the league and play at County, Regional and National level.
The club also encourages women to take up the sport by hosting Squashacise classes on Wednesday nights. The class is open to non-members from beginners to experienced players and is a fun workout class which includes a circuit / cardio workout, a coaching session delivered by the club coach and then a chance to play other class members.
For the squash player who wants to improve their fitness, on Monday nights there is a challenging Fit for Squash class. This is an hour long session of on-court cardio exercises aimed at pushing the fittest player to the limit.
